The tea we pour, and why it matters

Tea is not an afterthought at Jade House. A good pot cuts the richness of pork and oil, resets your palate between bites, and gives a long meal a rhythm.
Our house pour is a high mountain Ali Shan oolong. It is floral and a little creamy, and it stands up to a full table of food without getting lost. For something lighter we pour a hand scented jasmine green. For the kids and the sweet tooths, there is brown sugar milk tea with real pearls.
Order a pot for the table, not a cup for yourself. Tea is meant to be shared, refilled, and argued over. That is the whole point.
Runs tea and bar for Jade House. Believes every meal deserves a good pot of tea.
